The weather was amazing, the crowds were entertained, and Mary Wade herself led the third annual Mary Wade Home parade in Fair Haven, CT to commemorate the founding of the home to care for Civil War widows in 1866.
Over 30 groups marched including local dignataries, drill teams, bands, clowns and representative groups from the fire department, crossing guards, police department, local schools, and Knights of Columbus, to name just a few.
Start Bank was delighted to march and hand out our seed bookmarks so that local residents can enjoy a mini wildflower garden in their backyard. Thanks to Inesta Belardo, Maribel Segui, and Lawrence Jeune for displaying the Start banner and team spirit.
